Galatians 5:16–26

Part 8 (Galatians 5:16-26) presses the question, “What kind of tree are you?” Paul contrasts two harvests: the works of the flesh—rage, envy, sexual immorality, and the like—grow naturally from our old, self-ruled nature, while the Spirit plants love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control in every believer. When we walk step-for-step with the Spirit, the Law loses its grip and freedom blossoms; when we drift back to our own strength, slavery’s fruit reappears. The call is clear: crucify the old cravings, stay in sync with the Spirit, and let God cultivate His life-giving produce in you.
