Being Faithful With Your Time

Aug 30, 2026    Matthew Mletzko

How would you spend your life if you knew exactly how much time you had left? Pastor Matthew Mletzko kicks off a brand new series on stewardship, showing from 1 Corinthians 4.1-2 that as followers of Jesus we are called to be faithful stewards of everything God has entrusted to us, not to hoard it, but to share it with those around us. Using the parable of the talents and John 3.16, he asks whether God is a master worth following, and lands on a clear yes: God held nothing back from us. Of the many things we are called to steward well, this message zeroes in on the first and most important one, time, breaking down exactly how many hours we each get in a day, week, and year, and how much of that time already slips away to sleep, eating, and other necessities. The challenge is simple and personal: what kind of steward are you with the time God has given you?
