Blessed Are: The Final Four Beatitudes

In Part 2 of The Beatitudes, Rick Gonzales finishes the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5) with the final four blessings. He recaps the first four, then walks through mercy (the spirit of misericordia, a heart of compassion for the misery of others), purity of heart (cultivated through time in the Word, a disciplined thought life, and the presence of the Holy Spirit), the peacemakers (including the three-step path to healing fractures in Matthew 18), and being persecuted for righteousness (the call to move from learner to follower, and Peter's denial and restoration). He closes with a piece the Lord gave him titled "Who Is My King?"
